"Our students put their hearts into making peace cranes and message cards, praying for global peace. We hope they will grow up into life-long peace builders who will continue to spread peace messages by sharing this experience. Thank you very much for letting us join such a heart-warming project. We hope that the cranes our students made will safely fly to you and will be of some help to have people unite for global peace."

"Our 10th graders made the peace cranes last year when they were still 9th graders. We learned about Sadako of Hiroshima through our English textbook, and we also learned about this project via an English education association. Inspired by the Sadako Project, our 200 students made the peace cranes, and we also invited our neighboring school, British School in Tokyo, to join the project with us.
We hope that our prayers will reach the hearts of people who will visit the USS Arizona Memorial.
May Peace Prevail on Earth."

Message:
"...every year, about 200 students from my school participate in this project. We also display messages of peace at our school's Cultural Festival in December. The seniors thought of their messages after listening to a speech from our ALT, who is from America, as part of a lesson on Peace Education. As a teacher from Hiroshima, it is my hope that through these classroom activities, our students will plant and foster seeds of peace."
