Dear Members and Friends of JASH: Welcome to our JASH Weekly Update! We hope this email finds you and your family safe and in good health. As you know, JASH’s mission is and continues to be bridging the U.S.-Japan relations through the unique perspective of Hawaii. To ensure this important work continues, one of JASH’s initiatives has been to cultivate the next generation of leaders. We’re excited to announce the inaugural JASH Virtual Natsumatsuri being planned and organized by the JASH NexGen Natsumatsuri Committee. Leading this JASH NexGen project are Co-Chairs Mr. Toby Tamaye and Mr. John Rankin. SAVE THE DATE – August 13th and stay tuned for more information! Join us in July as JASH member Mr. Ray Tabata shares his photo collection and takes us back to the devastation of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan in 2011, the impact of the disaster and the resilience the people of Japan have demonstrated to emerge even stronger. Organized by the Japan Society of New York.

Vice President of ITO EN North America, the global leaders of green tea, will take you through the fundamentals of this invigorating beverage.
