Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Hokkaido Spring Camp has been cancelled. We plan to resume the Hokkaido Camp Program in 2021.

The Hokkaido Camp Program offered in partnership with Japan’s Soshi Educational Group (SEG) is an Educational and Cultural Exchange (ECE) program to introduce Hawaii’s high school students to educational opportunities in Japan after completing high school. The program includes all-expense-paid trip to Hokkaido, where students will be engaged in cultural exchange with local high school students at the Clark Memorial International High School, Kita-no-Daichi Genki-no-Izumi Campus, exploring Hokkaido’s capital city of Sapporo, visiting Japan’s northernmost zoo, Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa, and have chance to experience snowboarding.

For more information please email JASH Educational Program Director, Takako Miyazawa, at tmiyazawa@jashawaii.org.

The Japan-America Society of Hawaii was founded in 1976 to promote understanding and friendship between the people of Japan and the United States through the special and unique perspective of Hawaii.
