Hawaii Junior Ambassadors Reconnect at Bridge Club Hawaii Welcome Home Picnic
Following their return from the 38th Asian-Pacific Children’s Convention (APCC) in Fukuoka, Japan, the 2026 Hawaii Junior Ambassadors (JAs) gathered with former participants, families, and members of Bridge Club Hawaii (BCH) for a Welcome Home Picnic.
The event provided an opportunity for the JAs to reconnect with their APCC community and reflect on their ten-day experience in Japan. The students shared highlights from their time at Marine House, their homestay with volunteer families, and their participation in the “We Are the BRIDGE” Festival.
Former Junior Ambassadors and BCH members warmly welcomed the 2026 delegation, celebrating their return and sharing encouragement as they join the growing APCC alumni network. The gathering highlighted the lasting impact of the program and the continued connections formed beyond the trip.
The picnic also brought together families, alumni, and friends of Bridge Club Hawaii, reinforcing the importance of ongoing community engagement and cultural exchange. It served as both a celebration of the 2026 delegation’s return and a reminder of the lasting relationships built through APCC.
Through APCC and Bridge Club Hawaii, JASH remains committed to fostering lifelong international friendships and empowering youth to become global citizens rooted in understanding, respect, and aloha.
